THE VISIONARY

A unique fine art interpretation of David Bowie’s eye, created from the original photographs I made of Bowie during the Earthling period and developed from an idea I first conceived for Outside in 1995.

Rather than simply reproducing the original photographs, I have extensively reworked and recombined the intricate structures, colours and natural geometries of the eyes to create an entirely new artwork — a symbolic star-eye and the culmination of an idea that has travelled with me for more than thirty years.

Each print comes with a unique, channeled hand-rendered inscription by Davide - in 18ct Gold Ink - on the back of the Art Print. This transforms each print into something deeply personal and unique.

The print is produced to museum-quality archival standards, preserving the extraordinary detail, depth and subtle colour of the original artwork.
